Mothercare Nottingham opened it’s doors with a new look this week. The store has undergone a revamp over the past couple of months and as one of the last few dedicated kids stores in Nottingham I was excited to check it out.
I wasn’t expecting the store to look as different as it does. The signage has been updated and the til point now sits in front of a large screen showing videos of the products available.
The most noticeable change is the arrangement of the store, the product areas are much more structured making it easy to locate items as each area is clearly identifiable.
I particularly like the new Maternity wear section, it feels like a very separate little boutique area within the store with lovely, large fitting rooms and stylish displays.
The store still houses a great Early Learning Centre, a Clarks shoe store, PixiFoto photography studio and Babybond scan centre. There is a lot going on in this space but the revamp has managed to make the store feel larger and brighter and much more easy to navigate, always handy if you have a patience poor toddler and need to do a quick drive by!
The store was officially reopened by Charlotte Purdie, owner of local family friendly venue The Milk Lounge. If you are making the trip into Nottingham to visit Mothercare then The Milk Lounge is definitely worth a visit too, great food, great staff and most importantly loads of toys to play with!
